Bob founded Brisk Management Services in 2013 with the objectives of providing superior risk financing and risk management to his clientele. Bob started his career in the trucking industry as a terminal manager for Carolina Freight Carriers. After receiving his MBA from Harvard University in 1986, he went on to provide risk financing and risk management to the transportation industry. With Bob’s prior experience in trucking he was able to develop innovative approaches to help a large portfolio of trucking companies improve risk management and reduce loss costs. With over thirty years of trucking insurance leadership under his belt, Bob maintains his passion for the industry and continuously strives to deliver innovative and creative solutions to the risky business of operating trucking companies.

As Chief Operating Officer for Brisk Management Services, Chandler’s primary responsibility is evaluating and pricing qualified accounts to join the Tarwheels Group Captive. He is also responsible for risk management objectives, planning Tarwheels meetings and events, and reviewing captive program results. Chandler attended Clemson University with a major in Financial Management, concentration in Financial Planning and minor in Accounting.  Chandler started his career at Canal Insurance Company where he completed the multi-faceted REACH program, with exposure to all company departments, prior to becoming an underwriter.  As an underwriter, he worked on both passenger transportation and trucking accounts before joining Brisk in April 2017.

Mike joined Brisk Management in 2019, and has since served as Chief Underwriting Officer for Tarwheels and Lonestar group captives, with a focus on evaluating and pricing prospective accounts. Mike is a Michigan native that brings a broad industrial background to the Brisk team. Prior to Brisk, he worked for Zeiss Industrial Metrology, overseeing major project installations at Ford and General Motors; Nucor Steel; and served six years in the nuclear field for the US Navy. Mike’s broad industrial experience translates well to the safety and risk management aspects of trucking insurance. In addition to his role as Chief Underwriting Officer, Mike explores new opportunities to expand group benefits for existing Tarwheels members, and develops the Lonestar group in Texas.

Ricky joined the Brisk Management Team as a consultant in 2020 overseeing the back-office finance function for the company, and since then has become a full-time employee involved in managing finances for both Brisk Management and Tarwheels along with some underwriting support.  Prior to joining Brisk, Ricky worked in corporate finance for nearly ten years, where he gained valuable experience in financial strategy and reporting, cost optimization, and profitability analysis.  Ricky is a Certified Public Accountant and is working towards his ACI certification.
