Brisk Insurance Company (BIC) is domiciled in North Carolina and owned by Brisk Management Services (Brisk). BIC creates the risk transfer structure, allowing Tarwheels Group Captive to partner with The Hartford Insurance Company. Brisk oversees claims and risk management services provided by CCMSI, Primacy and AvatarFleet.

Hartford’s team of professionals that exclusively service the captive market provide the behind-the-scenes support and structure to provide an exceptional insurance experience for all members. Hartford’s claims team are actively involved in all serious losses, supporting the ability and expertise of our TPA partner. Hartford's risk engineering consultants also work closely with Brisk to provide an annual On-Site Risk Assessment to members, providing feedback and guidance based on each company's own risk management objectives.
CCMSI
As the claims manager for Tarwheels, CCMSI provides a dedicated team of experienced adjusters to manage the liability, physical damage, and workers compensation claims incurred by members. CCMSI has offices all over the country, facilitating highly responsive communications to our nationwide members.
DAVIES MANAGEMENT CONSULTING
Davies Consulting provides captive management expertise and behind-the-scenes accounting and compliance guidance. Davies has been a Brisk partner from the very beginning, and the captive experience they apply has made them a valued long-term partner.
Primacy Risk Services
Primacy has an active role in the claims process, handling the intake for all auto claims and managing all after-hours serious losses for effective 24/7 claims investigation. Primacy is also actively involved in large loss litigation strategies and settlements.
